You realized it was going to take perseverance to get your book published. So did Donis Casey.  And now, four successful novels later, Donis shares the one secret she learned that no one tells you before you set out to live the writing life.

Donis Casey is the author of four Alafair Tucker Mysteries; The Old Buzzard Had It Coming, Hornswoggled, The Drop Edge of Yonder, and The Sky Took Him. Her award-winning series, featuring the sleuthing mother of ten children, is set in Oklahoma during the booming 1910′s. Donis lives in Tempe, AZ, with her husband, poet Donald Koozer. The fifth Alafair Tucker novel, Crying Blood, is scheduled for publication in February, 2011.
