SCOTTSDALE SOCIETY OF WOMEN WRITERS

SCOTTSDALE, Arizona, February 9, 2008 – Scottsdale Society of Women Writers dinner meeting on Wednesday the 25th of February will be “alive with music”.

John Mahoney, owner/producer of RavenPheat Productions, a recording studio established in 1998, will be the featured speaker.  John’s current business composition; 65% spoken word (audio books) and 35% music will electrify the evening with great ideas.  His history: musician, recording artist, industrial marketer, business manager.

“Presently, living my passion… the hell with the money.  Wearing a suit and not telling the whole truth….just didn’t work out.  I now tell the truth, no matter what.”

Motto: Placing Respect, Integrity, Honesty and Quality Above All Else.

Women writers are urged to attend and learn who buys Audio Books and why authors consider an Audio Book.  Understand an Audio Book and how help from a Recording Studio can build your book business. Glean tips on how to value your Voice Talent for greater success.  Questions and answers will follow the talk.

SSWW meets from 5:30-7:30 p.m. at the Café Carumba restaurant, 7303 E. Indian School Rd., Old Scottsdale.  Please RSVP if you plan to attend this special event by contacting Patricia at patricia@plbrooks.com or 480-250-5556 cell.

The Scottsdale Society of Women Writers gives members access to events of interest, a format for exchanging ideas, an opportunity to network with other women authors, an alliance with businesses relating to writing and publishing and camaraderie and support found in no other group.   For more information, see www.plbrooks.com
